Summary

Shiseido is a leading company of Japan marketing industry, which always
executes advanced challenges. Now it implemented Datorama in order to
guarantee ad operation transparency and to achieve efficiency of operation
at the same time.
Since last year, ad transparency is a crucial issue in ad industry.
Especially excel manural reporting is a one of the problems as this manual
operation causes copy-paste errors or others simple errors. To avoid those
things Shiseido thought they need a automated report system without manual
operation so that they are using datorama to unify reports from 5 different
agencies. This approach is not only for ad transparency but also for
promoting operational efficiency. As a leading company, throughout those
efforts with agencies Shiseido is trying to build healthier relationship
between Brands and Agencies in the future.
After unifying all marketing data, ad verification data in Datorama, one
single source of truth, Shiseido will also unify sales revenue data and
build marketing intelligence to leverage Shiseido’s entire business growth.
